Escrow is a financial arrangement where a third party (EqualsNDash) holds and regulates payment of funds between two parties. When you buy something, your payment is held securely by us. Once you confirm you've received what was promised, we release the funds to the seller. This protects both parties from fraud.
No. EqualsNDash is not a bank or licensed money transmitter. We are a technology platform that facilitates secure transactions between buyers and sellers using Stripe's payment infrastructure. All payments are processed by Stripe.
We never see or store your card details. All payment information is entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form (Stripe Elements) and processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of certification available.
Either party can open a dispute before funds are released. Both parties can submit evidence (messages, photos, tracking info). Our team reviews the case and makes a determination. In some cases, we may split funds or issue partial refunds. Our goal is always a fair resolution.
Once a transaction is marked complete, payouts are typically processed within 2-4 business days, depending on your bank and region. New accounts may have a brief holding period while we verify your identity. You can configure automatic payouts in your settings.
